Allawah Retreat (aboriginal meaning, "sit, stay here and rest a while") is a place to rejuvenate, and relax with nature and luxury. It is the ideal romantic getaway for couples, and a superb base from which to explore all the attractions of the historic Atherton Tablelands. It is also just a short drive to many restaurants and cafes serving fresh locally grown produce.

You can choose from four individual lodges all built in the style of a pole home construction with elevated decks, which enjoy sweeping views of the north and east across the Atherton Tablelands towards Lake Tinaroo.

All lodges are fully self contained with reverse cycle split system air conditioning and cosy log fires for winter. The kitchen is equipped with all your needs including, full size fridge/freezer, cooktop, microwave, electric frypan, skillet, wok, cutlery, crockery, pots and pans plus coffee plungers, oil salt and pepper and other kitchen appliances to make your stay homely.

The on-deck barbeque is a fantastic place to enjoy the great outdoors.

The lodges all have their own laundries with washing machine, laundry tub and clothes airer.

Treetops Spa Lodge

It has a modern, elegant & very spacious feel and offers panoramic views from every room. The king size bedroom flows into a huge ensuite with double shower and sliding timber louvre dividing doors, for added privacy. Treetops lodge is larger than the other lodges.

The fully self-contained Treetops Spa Lodge is designed for one couple and features:

Moonlight Lodge

The romantic Moonlight Lodge has a modern Australiana theme and overlooks eucalypt woodland and offers sweeping views over Atherton Tableland farmland. The rich colour of red cedar furniture and trims with timber floors add to the relaxing ambience of the wood fireplace in the lounge room.

Moonlight Lodge has been designed to offer maximum privacy with every luxury, and inside you will find meticulous attention to detail.

HoneyGem Lodge

The romantic HoneyGem Lodge has a warm, homely, rich timber feel and overlooks eucalypt woodland. The Queensize bed can be closed off from the world, behind folding timber louvre doors for added privacy.

Hideaway Spa Lodge

Hideaway lodge is a romantic haven, hidden away among the eucalypts with panoramic views from every room and accessed via an elevated timber boardwalk.
This lodge has a huge deck with an exclusive “Hot Springs” heated deck spa as well as a sun deck complete with a double hammock.
